Life between the moon and the ocean.

My art is a reflection of the world around me. I'm so easily inspired by life in Tofino: the ocean, surfing, the moon, sunsets and sunrises, whales, orcas, bears, and other wildlife, northern lights, boat life, and so much more. Vancouver Island is a magical place—the real-world Jurassic Park. A friend said to me once, 'The nature lives here. The Mother Earth is alive and thriving." Exactly! I couldn't agree more. 🩷

You will notice the portfolio is divided by the medium used in the artwork. My go-to used to be watercolor or pencil. All you need is a sketchbook, a palette, a brush, and some water, perfect for someone living in a van. Lately, however, I have been leaning more towards acrylic painting. I now live on a boat, and have more space to be creative and to store a variety of art supplies.
